Manor House to King’s Cross St. Pancras Tube Walk

Manor House to Finsbury Park

A short walk along Seven Sisters Road gets me to Finsbury Park tube station.

Finsbury Park to Arsenal

On St. Thomas’s Road is the Central North London Mosque.

At the end of the road I turn right and get to Arsenal underground station.

Arsenal to Holloway Road

Walking along Drayton Park I pass the Arsenal Ticket Box Office. You need to walk some way past the box office before you can get a good view of the Emirates Stadium which is the new home of Arsenal Football Club.

You can walk right up to the stadium and passing around it provides a short cut to Holloway Road tube station.

Holloway Road to Caledonian Road

On Hornsey Street are many new and very colourful blocks of flats.

I pass down a number of small roads and reach Caledonian Road tube station.

Caledonian Road to King’s Cross St. Pancras

On Caledonian Road is a prison – H.M.P. Pentonville, a building which certainly can’t be helping house prices in this area.

I pass various shops until I go over the canal.

Wharfdale Road and York Way lead me to King’s Cross St. Pancras tube station.

Piccadilly Line Walk – Day 2 Summary

Today’s walk took about four hours where three and a half of those hours was pure walking. It is mostly downhill which does help to make the route easier.

  1. Pity you didn’t venture by the nearby disused York Road, closed since 1932…
