Bond Street to London Bridge

Bond Street to Green Park

After leaving Bond Street I headed down some padestrianised streets. First is South Molton Street and then Avery Row.

After passing through Berkeley Square I arrived at Green Park.

Green Park to Westminster

The next part of the route is along the Queen’s Walk along the side of Green Park.

After reaching The Mall, just a short distance from Buckingham Palace I go into St. James’s Park. A procession of guards just happened to be marching down the mall at this time.

There is a large lake in the park which I walked along.

When I left St. James’s Park I passed a number of government offices on Great George Street before getting to Westminster tube station.

Westminster to Waterloo

Walking across Westminster Bridge gives good views of the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.

I took plenty of photos of the London Eye before arriving at Waterloo underground station.

Waterloo to Southwark

The Cut provides a direct route between Waterloo and Southwark.

On the way are The Old Vic theatre and the Young Vic theatre.

Here is an outside view of Southwark station.

Southwark to London Bridge

On the opposite side of the road to Southwark station is the London Development Agency which is a part of the Greater London Authority.

I head along Union Street and then Southwark Street before reaching London Bridge underground station.

  1. St James’s Park is undoubtably my favourite park in London, and the view from the bridge looking towards Pall Mall and the London Eye is splendid 🙂
