King’s Cross St. Pancras to Kennington Tube Walk

King’s Cross St. Pancras to Angel

I walk along Pentonville Road which has many large accommodation blocks and a number of office blocks.

At the end of Pentonville Road I turn right into Islington High Street and reach Angel tube station.

Angel to Old Street

On leaving Islington High Street I walk east into City Road.

At a major road junction on City Road I get to Old Street tube station.

Old Street to Moorgate

I keep walking south on City Road passing these large white buildings.

I soon get to Moorgate tube station.

Moorgate to Bank

I carry on down Moorgate and then walk into Prince’s Street. On Prince’s Street you can see the rear of the Bank of England.

Just after the bank is Bank tube station.

Bank to London Bridge

My route continues on Walbrook street and then Cannnon Street.

As I’m heading towards London Bridge tube station the best place to cross the Thames would seem to be on London Bridge itself.

On the other side of London Bridge I walk through Borough market and arrive at London Bridge tube station.

London Bridge to Borough

I walk along Borough High Street.

On Borough High Street is the tube station.

Borough to Elephant & Castle

I continue on Borough High Street.

On Newington Causeway I pass the Inner London Crown Court.

Next to the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre is the tube station.

Elephant & Castle to Kennington

After leaving Elephant & Castle I turn into Newington Butts.

A short way down the road is Kennington tube station.
